Reverend Velinda J. Simmons and husband Reverend P. Simmons Are the Sr. Pastors of the Rock Church of Greenville. Their teamwork in the ministry began in Italy. There they founded the Rock Church of Italy and remained Pastors from 1994 to 1998. Afterwards they responded to the sovereign call of God to be a laborous work in Libera and Africa.
Afterward they returned to the United States with great anticipation to start a Church in Atlanta Georgia. However, God orchestrated a divine interception in their ministry plans and they were appointed to the Rock Church of Greenville in October 1999. The Simmons were commissioned and Installed as Pastors By Bishop John Gimenez the following year July 2000. |
